So, a sem is coming to an end really soon and here I was complaining when I first came down to KL and now...no change, I'm still complaining and I have lots to complain about but currently not in the mood to write it out now.

Things have changed but not much, still in the acceptable range.

I have set a resolution for the last month of 2008, that is, TO LEARN HOW TO PLAY POOL PROPERLY!!!

Well judging from my last post it's exactly 11 days since I last updated.
The reason I don't update very often is simply because, I do not have enough privacy to do it, that's all but then again since today is a very special day to me I decided I shall be a little vain and feel good about being here and all but first I must play this song and dedicate it to myself;

though it isn't really suitable so here's another 1,

10. I have been really thrifty
11. To the people that hates me; just hate me I don't mind (self-forgiving achieved)
12. I have managed to stay as myself up to do date (I'm actually running out of things to put in
the list).
13. I think I have managed to put a smile to people around me all the time usually.
14. For being able to keep this blog for a year?
15. Believing in people I know I can and should believe in (I hardly trusts people in case you
don't know).
16. I KNOW! I managed to live by myself and being independant during my 3 months period in
Singapore.
17. I managed to savour some of the food that I never did.
18. I've found out my body limit (is that even being vain?).
19. I've learnt a really valuable lesson this year.
20. I've found some really good people that are really my friends that are worth thinking of
once in a while.

I think I suck really bad at being vain, some of the things doesn't even imply that I'm being vain..crap.. I need to learn how to be vain already.
But then again who cares?
IT'S MY BIRTHDAY so,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MYSELF!!

I forgot to add, all I wish for my birthday is... not be forgotten..it's as simple as that.

Uncertainty

It's been a month plus since I started my studies, things haven't been great though not bad..just not great. Mid term is around the corner...very corner actually but..somehow I couldn't be bothered but then again, I think I need this, it'll pretty much define where and what I'll be doing after this year but I know, I must not slack now it's too much if I just slack off now so I'm gonna do my best for all this for now

That is a rather profound title but, I like it so sue me!
If you've been reading the newpapers (I can't see why you haven't) there is quite a few talks of sueing arond going on, seems like the hype for now, perhaps I should get into some sueing mood as well but then again, who really cares?

It's been exactly a month since I got here, classes has been rather boring, and..there always seem to be a few things bothering me everytime but I shalln't talk more about it, I prefer it to be a piece of memory or rather, fragments of memories.

I think I've gotten thinner again, pants that would normally fit me is not anymore, nor are my shirts, it all seems baggy and loose and I hate baggy-ness.

I really feel like I should talk more but... I don't know.. I've gotten for quiet recently compared to before, friends back at home would notice but...

Settling Down

So, here I am again after my trip back to Penang for a few days, sorting out things and packing the remainder of my stuff but, before I continue, below is a snippet of a blog entry which I was typing on before I felt somebody was breathing down my neck;

"I'm writing on the bus back to KL, back to classes and learning I suppose and since the bus I'm on has power ports,
I decided to make good use of it, I won't get to post this on the go since I'm lacking a wireless broadband but
the very least is that I typed this and saecd it to be posted on a later date.
When I was down at KL last week, I wasn't thoroughly ready as I expected the classes to start on a later date as
stated on the stupid letter but then again, everything was new but not all was exciting. "

At this very moment, I think the ladies behind me were looking at my laptop already so I stopped.

A lil something about my life so far,
Things haven't been exactly smooth sailing but then again I think I'm doing pretty well though sometimes do feel like giving up on what I'm doing...
Just in case you're wondering what am I talking about, it's about myself,
I try very hard not to like a place I'm at which I'm spending a lot of my time which is, the almighty KL.

I think it's due to the fact that I'm afraid I'll like this place more and thus, forgetting what do I have back at home but then again, a lil hate and a lil love is nice so far, I'm learning how to balance it.
Oh well..class starts early tomorrow and I feel damn ugly with all the zits!

Start of a new story

So, here I am in my room in HELP just started class today, orientation was last week and I've been here for 5 days already..how time flies.
I'm getting used to the things here except probably the price of things here and...sometimes do feel a lil lonely.
But all hope's nt lost, for I am coming back this weekend to settle few more things like...I freaking passed my RAE!! So that means the next step is getting a license now,
Classes are ok though a lil smaller than I'd expected..only 11++ less than 15
oh well don't really know what to say but I'd like my readers (if there's any) to know;

Stay positive, even at the toughest moment, even at the moment that all hope's gone. The first step to being positive is; Smile :)

Ok as many of you knew, PC Fair ended today and I admit, I was among the few that went every single day without fail (yes, I know, a freak)
and today was the last day and also the worst day!
So in accordance and for everybody's comfort in the next PC Fair 4 months later,

That all those who's waistline aboves 36" SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED INTO THE THE HALL!

For those of you who are wondering why, it was because I was actually sexually harassed! Every inch of my precious body had not failed to be touched by god know how many people and to make matters worse. these 'accused' are like big boulders! Blocking those already narrow walkways those....those...blithering IDIOTS!

Freak accident

In case you didn't read the papers yet, there was a horrific accident that happened at the Cheras-Kajang highway and 1 of the casualty was a bomb squad specialist which he died on the spot and the irony is that he risks his life defusing bombs but his life ended on the highway..

RIP Kpl Mohd Nuh Ali.

Because a lot of people said Hancock sucked, I decided to write something about it;

We went Hancock-ing yesterday and the at the start of the movie,
you are greeted with a sight of a drunk black man sleeping on a bench by a shop!
That's very negative now no?

Anyway, I'll just talk about the moral of the show, John had to sacrifice one thing which is being close to the only person like him because he wants the very best for that person.

Can you do something like that? Staying away from the person that's like you or the person that you're comfortable with because it'll mean the world to that person... It's actually very sad.

Beginning of the Ending

Anyway, people around me left to pursue their higher studies/to a path of new freedom or whatever you call it and seriously I'm rather sad thinking about it but still aren't we suppose to be happy for the people we love and care if they're doing something they like doing and are happy?

It sounds easy but it's very very very hard to do.
I don't think I wanna go on anymore but to "you know who you are"

I Miss You

even though you've just left for a few days but the mark you've left in my heart feels like it's been scarred all over again.

Separation

So, I came home and bla bla bla bla shan't delve deeper into this nothing much happened which I wanna talk about. This post is gonna be about as per title.

Well everyone's going their own ways now and after the coming weekend almost everyone will be scattered around. It's a good thing for these people as it means a step closer to making their dreams come true but..

do you know that some people might miss you a lot? Even though you might the know the person for a year or 2 but somehow someway you have left a mark in their heart which is gonna be there forever whether you like it or not.

Personally I feel that way, people that were close to me are leaving soon and I'm not gonna be some meanies to tell them they shouldn't leave or anything negative but I do hope they realize they are quite important to me in this stage of life now and I'll always pray for their best all I hope for is to be able to stay in their hearts and minds e.g not forgotten.. that's all I ask from you...

Ok I came across this story;
but first let's name the characters

Girl - Amy
Guy - Chris
Guy 2- Justin

Ok Amy and Chris has been together for over 4 years since she was 17 years old he was a good boyfriend cause everything she wants he will tried to fulfill and Chris even got a car he for her.
Then Amy went to college to further her studies...after 2 years in college she met 1 guy Justin..
she fltl very comfortable with him and the relationship started friends..

lots of people told her friends can turn to lovers ...they became lovers.. hanging out every week.

but at the same time she was still in the relationship Chris and because she felt very guilty to him and so she told Chris that she wants to break up with him and
it turned to a fight when she told him the truth, that she falled in love with another guy..
Chris became a crazy stalker.. every moves that she made ....he is always spying on her

one day.. Chris knocked on her house door and shouted at her saying that he wants everything back but, she refused to give the car..even though she knows it is his right to take it back..but finally Justin come over to her place to solved this matter..it turned to a bad fight where both of them fighting in front of her..Chris lodged a police report..

To make the story shorter, she no longer contact Chris for about 2 years.. but on the 3rd year after they broke up.. She contacted him again..they meet up and he has bought an apartment which he wanted to rent the apartment.. she told him that she wanted to rent the apartment and so Chris gave her a special rental rate for that.. Amy told Justin that she got the apartment from an agent..

but was goes around comes around.. one day when Justin planned to stay over at her house..she was in the shower and was confident that she has deleted all the sms between her and Chris..but by god's will..she forgotten to delete the sent items...Justin read all the sent items messages between her and Chris suddenly Justin went off.. switched off his hp..and Amy has been calling him for 2 days..finally he answered Amy's call and he sounded so sarcastic...

Amy apologized to Justin.,. but now he still answers her calls but do not act like what he used to before all this things happened

Don't you think deserve better once in a while? Well I know I feel like that whenever sadly I'm at home so frustrated do you know? It's like in the space where there's only u and the stars and the stars aren't really friendly to you (in case you don't know stars can burn the astronaut's 'skin') and when you wanna avoid all this..burning you move away only to find that you will be heading back out there.

I don't know about any of you but I feel exploding every time something like this happens and when I explode there's no where for me to go to except the world of my headphone which I will turn on loudly blocking out everything but.. I can't seem to find out how to block the feelings that are turning around in my heart and that stupid knot-tight-up feeling not to mention the blurriness in the eye...

How I wish someone would tell me what to do and trust me I tried the 'come in on the left side go out on the right' which, a skill I have perfected over the years and yet I can't seem to do it here at home.

Perhaps I need a private space of my own? Perhaps I should just please everyone by doing what they want me to do even if I do not want to? Or perhaps I should just shut up and not grunt or share the ups and downs of the things I do?

Computer prices

Apparently most of us are rather selfish and 'cheap' and I learned this the hard way when I went window shopping for computer parts (Ree Nee's pc broke down) and you can see the major difference of prices of parts between Penang and KL can you actually give a reason why? I know I can't and just in case you didn't know, thumbdrives in TESCO sometimes are cheaper than those sold in the PC shops! SO, before you buy anything make sure you do a bit of window shopping first!

Humble...It's still there

Today, after dinner when I got back to the fair area where I'm working at something happened which rather touched my heart.

There was this English guy if not mistaken it's an Australian and he was wearing this leather shoe which is rather hard on the sole and like most of you probably could guessed it,
he steps on a very young child's feet
poor kid she kept crying and crying and crying so the Australian kept apologizing and if you were there you'd know how bad he felt.

The mother of the kid kept saying "he said sorry already ok ok stop crying good girl~~" but nope she didn't stop but when the mom was paying for the books she stopped for a while and then continued crying like she needed to grab a breath and then the most surprising thing happened~
The Australian's friend was in the line and he quickly grabbed a box of color pencil and asked his friend to pay and then he ran to catch the mother and the kid that's still crying and if I'm not mistaken he said "I'm terribly sorry here, take this" note that I'm not a lip reader but I think it was pretty much like that and although the mother didn't wanna take it he kept shoving the box of the color pencil and then the kid took the color pencil and stopped crying. The look on the face of the man was showing that he was pretty much relieved.

This is something you don't see everyday and most certainly not from most Malaysians simply because
1) Most Malaysians don't wear leather shoe with a hard sole and;
2)Malaysians are usually rather selfish so they'll say "sorry ah" then trot away just like that

Somehow this incident reminds me of the very thing that matters the most in our country and also everywhere else,

being humble.

So, stay humble so others will to you and thus, making this, a better place.

New Year Eve, New Trend?

Well like most of you know I'm working in Gurney in a fair.. a dreaded fair. Well back to the topic on new year eve a lot of people young and old flocked to Gurney to participate in the countdown but don't you people know that the celebration is in Esplanade??

Never mind that.

I was sick on the that day, down with flu and cough so I had frequent trips to the toilet and this time I noticed something that made my hair behind my neck stood up as high as the Statue of Liberty's hand!!

The guys that was in the toilet was actually putting on their 'makeup' and if you know what I mean you probably used them. What I mean is their hair gel! Oh my GOD~! Their freaking hair products have probably more than girls that's going for a wedding can you actually believe it?
And if you're feeling a bit stabby in the heart, that's because you're probably one of those people that uses a lot of those hair product that you'll most probably regret using 15 years later because you probably grow a tumor a big as an apple in your brain and I mean it!

SO STOP USING IT!!

if you love your family and friends stay off that freaking thing!

I went dinner with my family a while ago, my aunt wanted to fetch her mom along which is..umm.. in laws in a way and when we got her house she took sometime to actually get to the car mainly because she couldn't walk fast due to her damaged ankle and when I see her I cannot imagine what will happen if there's nobody to help her if she falls down or something like an emergency? All this because of her old age catching up to her and sooner or later you and me will be like that so when we're young we need to take good care of our health and it's never too late to start honestly,
avoid oily food and fried stuff all the time, take more vegies and fruits it'll really help and if you're lazy to chew the vegies, just boil them to be soup and for fruits, just make into juice not only will it be more convenient, it'll also be much more delicious!
So START NOW, ACT NOW!!

Taxis In KL for Idiots

I was at KL from last Thursday and because I was with my family we had to take the taxi sometimes just because it's much more convenient and that made me realize the failure of our taxi system here in Malaysia and so I found the loopholes that will actually help people like you and me and tourists from other other place to make the best out of the taxis of KL.

1st - Never ever ever ever ever ever ever board the taxi that stops in front of the hotel you're staying in be it a 5 star hotel such as the Renaissance or, a 3 star Hotel Nova to a 2 star Bintang Warisan Hotel. NEVER EVER board from there just go across the street or to a mall and flag a taxi down but read below;

2nd- NEVER EVER board the taxis that are already waiting in front of the KLCC you'll notice the fleet of taxis which is driven by umm...the same color skin people because from another taxi driver, they have modified meters in the car so you'll be pretty much happy when they say they're using the meter instead the fare could go up to 80bucks for a trip that would normally cause 15bucks without the meter but read below also;

3rd- Be vigilant, never take taxis that run on meter during peak hours meaning when it's lunch time, when school finishes, when the school is about to start, when it's after office hours because just being stuck in the jam will raise the meter to a a monstrous amount that you'll probably be shocked

Below will the few normal prices to a few spots in KL
note that all this departs from KLCC

1 Utama - 20 bucks
MidValley Megamall - 20 bucks
KL Sentral - 8 bucks

any higher is acceptable as long as it's in the range of +-2bucks

Well exam's over, holiday is upon us so now what do we do?

1) Work
2) Rot
3) Play

Amongst these 3 which do u pick? A few of my friends chose option 2 and 3 mostly though there are exceptions to those which are hardworking enough to choose 1 and therefore they get to go for hols when they get their pay unlike people with choice no2 and 3. So here just like how the saying goes, pay play later or play now pay later which.. in turn mean if you work now u get to go for hols when you get your pay whereas if you play now or go for hols then you'll be working when others go for holidays...so simple right?

Tonight there's actually 2 birthday parties so to speak as there are 3 people celebrating their birthdays.

1 of them is celebrating in Pizza Hut, the other 2 is having a BBQ by the beach and now I'm in a dilemma as which to go but there's only 2 choice actually to go or not to go though I'm pretty sure I'm picking the 2nd choice just because I'm coughing like mad and I wanna save money for Christmas. But I was thinking the 1st guy is working so maybe that's why he can afford to treat a number of people to Pizza Hut while the other 2 has got a lot of friends that's why can have a BBQ and when you do a dinner for your friends you'll be receiving presents~!~

Maybe.. that's what I need to do?... I don't know :(

Birthday...

My birthday passed 2 weeks ago and I just wanna talk about what I thought about birthdays.
Last year was arguably my best birthday, friends celebrated with me and all that.
This year when 1 of my best friend's birthday, we bought him a gift and I went to Gurney to buy it despite the rain and all that, never hoping for anything in return, just wanna see our friend smile when it's his birthday.

Then a few months ago, I paid quite a sum for birthdays when my mom commented that, "you pay so much but when you birthday comes don't see you getting anything before" that left me speechless not because of how umm... materialistic I think would be the best word my mother was but rather, the truth behind it.

I've never thought of it that way but it is rather true..

NOT THAT I'M COMPLAINING OR ANYTHING PLEASE DON'T GET ME WRONG!

how often do you pay to get a friend's birthday gift only to get wishes and nothing else? I mean wishes are fine it means they actually made the effort to remember your birthday, but were you ever disappointed because nobody got you anything. I'm not trying to sound pitiful and all those sad sad stuff, just wanna put some thought into this 'issue'

Well the next time you get something for your birthday, find out who chipped in and make a note and get them something for their birthday.

The best thing you can do in your life is to make a person, smile.

I'm gonna categorise blogs into a few types namely: Hate blog, Cooking Blog, Tech Blog, Travel Blog and the most common, General Blog. Of course there's lots more but tonight I'm gonna talk about Hate Blogs ,You know some people's blog mainly talk about people that annoy them or just people that they hate and 2 nights ago I found 1 which is rather funny. This blog written by let's call him A talks mainly about this person that WE ALL HATE! And this person, well what am I gonna say but somehow when I read the other party's blog which is the person that we all hate and we're gonna call him B for this context ... it just doesn't seem to make any sense saying what he was joking when he did something and he was just upholding 'responsibility' or what shit but come to think of it, if I had read the B's blog first instead of A, I'd say that A was at fault.

The main point of this post is actually talking about the way people would judge something using the first idea they come upon, this is called rationality, pretty much the reason why juridical system is not practised in many place.

Hmm I actually enjoy writing this perhaps I'd write more of this instead of some gibberish rubbish huh?

Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong

Today ( 23/10/07) at 11.20 am
90 year old Genting founder, passed away at Subang Jaya Medical Centre.
I got home and as usual I'd check out lowyat.net and then I saw it, a topic "Lim Goh Tong passed away"
and I though it was a joke or something that's really mean but when I clicked into the topic and the link to thestar.com.my was provided, I immediately realised that one of Malaysia's pride and joy and not to mention 1 of the richest in Malaysia has passed away.
Please note that what I'm gonna say is not a racist remark but I seriously looked up onto him for being a chinaman (literally) that transformed into a world class figure and being a chinese myself... I was really proud to know one of a chinese that was and is a very successful person. I'd recommend reading his autobiography "My Story - Lim Goh Tong" which was published in 2004. In the book he wrote about his early life, how he started off with nothing to building a world-class casino resort through hard work and perseverance confounding skeptics, and the people he acknowledges. The late Tan Sri's book can be an inspiration to many like myself.
He left behind his wife, 6 children and 19 grandchildren...

I am just so shocked that he left because he had a grand birthday celebration in April and now......

My cousin brother's wedding was this morning with the customary 'Lau Tia Meh' last night which means 'bachelor's night' thing in english I think and this morning was when the bridegroom went over to the bride's house to sort of like to invite her over to the family and today the bride's house was at Relau and we need to invite her over to our gramp's house which was at New Lane!! (if you don't know where is new lane go ask your mommy or daddy) and then we headed off to Park Royal for a wedding lunch.. not dinner...LUNCH!
The tea drinking ceremony was held there too due to a tight schedule.
I'd like to say a few things about the hotel's lunch..food...watever you wanna call it
The deco was nice...food was..ok~~~ service were rather slow maybe because they were short of staff due to the Raya celebration..
Aih lazy type so much damn tired will tell more in next post ok?

Yea yea I know it's already the end of the day just wanna talk bout this morning which actually nothing special but waking up feeling rather relaxed.. don't you like being relaxed all of a sudden like feel the weight and the burden of daily life has been lifted off my shoulder.. so freaking relaxed

Well I'm back and last week on National Day, I was in Singapore! YEA SINGAPORE!!

Frustration

Although the title of this post is frustration, my main topic for today is
Jealousy
I'll tell you people later why I put frustration.
Well don't you get always get jealous like for say, your cousin's getting a new car, your partner is closer to another person, not getting the same treatment at home and many more.

Jealousy typically refers to the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that occur when a person believes a valued relationship is being threatened by a rival. This rival may have no knowledge that he or she is threatening the relationship was what Wikipedia said.
But that is not main definition of jealousy but more to the common concept where relationships are involved.

I've always been jealous I guess I can say, how come that person can have so much money to spend, how come he drives a Honda Civic while I, Honda Wave...
of course not everyone feels jealous at the things that other people do just because it's the difference of perspectives , I think I should get a car that's why I envy those who has while another friend might already be driving 1 so he doesn't really need to feel jealous. And most of the time I just feel "he shouldn't be getting a damn car! I SHOULD!@~!@ ARGH!!!"

But according to some books which I've read including some articles, jealousy is always caused by the feeling of insecurity in relationships, thus the partner might feel jealous when the counterpart is talking and laughing away with another person.. Have you experienced that before?
Though some experts agree that jealousy is good as it adds some spice to your love life but as always too much is not good.
Oh my I'm drifting away from my topic till I can't get back on track guess that's all.
Now,
Frustration because I wanted to update my blog last night but the internet failed on me! because I wanna have a good game but thanks to some party, it turns to a high-blood-pressure-inducing-game.

A lot of flora and fauna has become extinct throughout the era of advancement due to humans destroying their natural habitats..Just in case you don't know habitat is the place where the animals live.
So when you destroy their home, you ultimately destroyed them!! It's like burning somebody's house up and when they see their house being engulfed in flames.. they'll feel they have lost everything so that's exactly how they feel and so WWF was founded to preserve these animals where their natural habitats have been destroyed and in SEA 1 of the near-extinct animals are Sumatran Rhinos so Nuffnang is going to create a lot awareness for these animals so I am hereby publicly stating that I fully support this program!

Last monday, Ree Nee and I reached at 6.50pm but didn't see anyone there so Ree Nee and I just walked around and when I called up Warren (Dragon Head) he said on the way so we waited for a while and 20 mins later he and Chee Hsien made their entry and then came JJ and so we sat down on a table near the stage and then Ree Nee spotted a rainbow and she asked me to take a picture of it but me with my lousy camera can't possibly take anything so Chee Hsien took it.
After a while Al arrived and Dragon Head looked for the boss to get our coupons "I'm looking for someone with blue shirt and white collar" he said.

Wah suddenly 2 days I didn't blog! I thought I did ok? ok! I thought ish!
But anyhow nothing much really but today marks the first day of the 7th lunar month in accordance to the chinese calender and below is an exert from Wikipedia.org:

In Chinese tradition, the seventh month in the Chinese calendar is called the Ghost Month (鬼月), in which ghosts and spirits, including those of the deceased ancestors, come out from the lower world to visit earth. The Ghost Festival is the climax of a series of the Ghost Month celebrations. Traditionally, ancestor worshiping was an important part of the festivals, with activities including preparing ritualistic offering food, and burning hell money and bags containing cloth to please the visiting ghosts and spirits of the ancestors, as well as other deities. Other activities include, burying and releasing miniature paper boats and lanterns on water, which signifies "giving directions to the lost ghosts and spirits of the ancestors and other deities." A very solemn festival of ancestor worshiping, the festival nevertheless represents a connection between the ancestors and the descendants, the living and the dead, earth and heaven, as well as body and soul.

The Ghost Festival shares some similarities with the predominantly Mexican observance of El Día de los Muertos. Due to theme of ghosts and spirits, the festival is sometimes also known as the Chinese Halloween, though many have debated the difference between the two.

From a book, "The boy who speaks to ghosts" by Benny Wong, 7th month was started from an emperor...oops i forgot the name but the emperor was visited by a spirit that told him to offer some offerings to spirits and in accordance to that he wore a white robe and stick out his tongue and those who was visited by him will be given a lump of mud/soil which will turn into gold... I think those is correct if my memory serves me right

and so there is a lot to this festival you see but this post seems to be long enough so will talk more about it tomorrow.

Rapid Penang - A Change to Penang

Ok! As promised, a review about Rapid Penang!
Well Ree Nee and I took the bus on friday actually and I just got lazy to blog about it especially when I can't upload the pix to the pc.
We started our journey at about 4pm when we left Ree Nee's house and when we got to the bus stop it was around 4.04 already and then I started timing the time we waited for the bus and it was around 18++ (I accidentally deleted the stopwatch time!! Stupid me) minutes not more than 18 I'm sure and the sight of 101 of Rapid Penang's bus that leads directly to Teluk Bahang appeared and we got on it. The bus driver asked where were we going and I replied "Prangin, berapa?" and "1 ringgit" was his reply and I told him 2 person so it's 2 person and I deposited RM 2 into the money-collecting-device-thingamajig and he gave me 1 ticket and as I started to walk towards Ree Nee "EH! TICKET TAK AMBIL" and I approached him he asked me "U sudah ambil berapa"
"satu"
"Satu lagi, u dua orang kan"

So here it is, first compliment to Rapid Penang, the bus driver was actually polite and honest so fun~.

Then the bus started leaving from oh yea I forgot to mention we were waiting for the bus at the Phor Tay High School's bus stop. The bus's interior was rather clean and surprising comfy

Ree Nee noticed that there were 4 OKU's seat hmm kinda considerate of them actually.

YEAP I'm not complaining

Yet,

As we got to Pulau Tikus onwards, the crowd was starting to gather on the bus and there was a few old uncles and to my frustration is that the young lady on the first pix, the left side of the bus, did not gave up her seat for him!!! How impolite and how mean!!! I got up and squeeze my way through and asked the uncle to sit but..he didn't want to. Aih I'm actually kinda disappointed to see a sight of such.
So here is a reminder,

GIVE UP YOUR SEATS TO ELDERLY PEOPLE AND PREGNANT WOMEN!! THEY NEED IT MORE THAN YOU!

The whole trip on Rapid Penang lasted 22 minutes when we stepped onto ground at Komtar, the stop.

And after we spent a little time at Prangin, we headed towards Komtar Bus Terminal to head home and that was around 7pm when we started to wait for the bus and after 12 minutes 101 came again.
Let me tell you people something else, it was rather a nice sight to see Rapid Penang as an addition to the public transport in Penang. For a change, the public won't need to just to cramp at the KGN Hin's terminal when they wanna head to Gurney or Tanjung Tokong or that area or to Milan to head to... Bayan Lepas area? not sure but yea it was a nice change.

So the way home, it was a sandwiching experience, really! and to my amazement, he (the bus driver) kept picking up customers! argh so cramped! Ree Nee and I was looking for the bell when I spotted it near the exit.. weird as it was rather inconvenient, it should be placed in more locations and easier to be spotted.

When we got back to Phor Tay it was already 730pm so it was a good 28++ minutes ride.
So, after all that sandwiching and bell looking trip, I'd give it a solid A-
So people! Rapid Penang is operational now and is bringing Penang to another level so use more public transport and that will help to save our Earth... Little by Little...OK I ADMIT

Coughs

Yes, I'm gonna talk about coughing because me, is coughing, and me being me, researched a bit on coughing and I found that there are 2 types of cough, subconscious and conscious types.

Subconscious cough occurs when foreign substances impinge in certain nerve fibers in the larynx and larger airways. It is often rapid, forceful, and can occur even when the subject is anesthetized which means even if when you're asleep you can cough. It is a defense mechanism to prevent obstruction in the airway. It is most strongly triggered by touch and rapid increases in local H+ concentration which is acidic and meaning when there is an infection to the throat you cough. This cough reflex can be primed by allergen inhalation in sensitive subjects. It is generally not directly stimulated by inflammatory mediators, tracheal stretch or local muscle contraction.

Conscious cough occurs because we think we have to cough because of a sense of local irritation, whether or not there is actually something impinging on local cough fibers. This is the sort of cough that may linger after certain viral respiratory infections or with COPD(no idea what is this) or asthma. This is the one that happens when you catch a cold and sick and it does not occur in anesthetized individuals. The activated C fibers sensitize the cough reflex and can be physically apart (e.g., lung tissue, esophagus) from the area where coughing starts There are cough receptors in the large airways but not in the peripheral airways. However, stimulation of C fibers in the peripheral airways appears to sensitize the cough receptor so that less stimulation of the latter is needed to induce a cough. That means when you get the itchy feeling, you cough.

Lost of Titles?

As per title, I'm totally out of titles but a few things has happened since my last post. Rapid Penang is like 'all systems on go' starting from today. There will be free rides for this first 3 days which means till Thursday and thus!, (man, I love that word), I'm wondering if I should go for a test run but the test ride will be in this week I promise my blog readers. STAY TUNED!
And at this time of posting, I'm officially...sick~ Runny nose and a mild sore throat and has been given attention by Dr. Ree Nee who has given me her medications. And an addition to the post about drivers, I wanna add that I also hate the drivers who are so indulged in the pleasure of digging their nose or ears that they sway from left to right and to left again, totally forgotten that they are on a road and not on their sofa!!
Oh well, this post is enough for now, my eyes feel kinda hot from the sickness...Siiiik

I HATE PENANG DRIVERS!!!
ok ok I maybe a driver myself but I just hate those people who slows down the traffic to sms or to answer a call by stopping in a narrow road e.g Pulau Tikus. I hate those who turn without corner light bike and car alike and most of all I hate ah beng drivers who think they have the coolest ride in town padahal it's only a KANCIL??!?~!? Well another fish died last night and today I cleaned the tank of the Iches and they're horrible!! I took my tank out took the walkway to get the sunlight for more heat, I got around 83F and the Ich looks like termites!! I mean really~ TERMITES! only smaller and shorter and they actually swarmed the whole tank "oh my god" was in my head... no wonder my fishes kept getting that stupid white spots argh I hate them. After siphoning the tank a few times, I got some bug in the tank that looked grasshopper. After a few times with adding hot water with salt my mom suggested me to clean everything since it's always coming back so I washed everything and threw away the sand. Planning to get black sand as an additional layer. AIKS...

When I was outside just now my mom called and asked where is the fish in the 'quarantine' tank as it's no where to be seen and when I got home they told me the fish suicided.... jumped out of the tank and landed next to my bed...:( now I'm left with 2 more females widows... sad.

Just now the Astro Installer man came in respond to the call we made last week when we viewed channel 931 which kinda like crashing down. Apparently our Astro dish was being blocked by a balcony cage (or whatever you call it) making our satellite signal lower than par. It'll cost us 40 bucks to relocate the dish with a 'pipe' we're all kinda wondering what 'pipe' is it though...hmm?

Yesterday, 2 of my fishies died after finding out they're all infected with Icy again!! and 1 female fish died apparently till the HOB filter was sucking on it...and the other male just died... tat leaves me with only 1 male...I think... as of this time, I'm looking in the internet on how to DIY a heater... anyone have and idea? ENLIGHTEN ME O DIY PROS!!!
I have another fish in my so-called-quarantine-tank but am planning to get a small plastic 1 which is usually for hamsters and small animals I need 1 of those anyone have 1? Can give me? Pretty Please? PRETTTTTTTTYYYYYYYYY PLEEEEEEEEEEEASEEEEEE

Do you realize the changes that happen on you? or even to the people around you?
Yea I did, I realized how my life changed when I met my friends, when I met my dearest Ree Nee, when I took the 1st step of the ladder of my life to SMKW and the 2nd when I opt for Science Stream 3rd when I decided to go to Form 6 instead of MMU and by this time next year I'll be taking the 4th leaving me with another 2 more steps to..take a guess?
WEALTH!!SUCCESS!! yea!

Well I think that although changes maybe good and some bad but if you view it positively, it's bound to be good no matter how bad it is at the beginning and as long as you keep the optimistic side up you'll get something good in return.

I've met some bad changes before and hell it was so damn frustrating adjusting to it but heck, it didn't turn out well but somehow I didn't complain about it after a while.

Changes.. some of the people that has diverted me to another route are Ree Nee, Ravi, Mike, Jean, Jia Wei, Chun Soon, Kit Mun, Khuen, Dex, Elaine and a few more people but yea this are the few people that has left a sign in or on my heart and yea I'm grateful for that.
Actually all the blabling blabloo is just to remind everyone that changes are like evolution, it's a slow process that will change the road of life.

On the way home from Gurney we ran into a roadblock and being a polite person I'd step down of my bike when requested from the policemen and he just asked for my IC and license which is rather weird because usually they'll ask for my roadtax as well but when the policeman took hold of my IC and license he just jotted away on a book...peculiar..
So being conscious of my rights I asked him (Farid was his name) why is he writing down my details and he said "untuk motor yang diperiksa" hmm first time I saw that but oh what the heck, nowadays we should be more aware of our rights and so we should always question when we're not sure especially when it comes to our details ok?
BTW, I got 5 new fishies! 3 females and 2 males will try to post some pix soon

Last night I went to CTY and bought an airstone and I came home and assembled my new air pump actually a second hand 1 got it from my uncle and yea the DIY idea cannot use :(
Anyway I attached how I did it.

Well I'm gonna talk about the topic, "Cinema Etiquette" This is how it started I usually don't wanna talk much but when we went to Harry Potter: Order of The Phoenix at GSC yesterday and boy it was good but...it could have been better thanx to that bitch!!! ARGH geramnya!! You all know the ad where they 'taikor' is talking on the phone and the DiGi yellow guy kept doing the Shh sign? Yea there was a lady that sat next to me and from the beginning of the show till the end she never stop using her handphone! First from the beginning till the scene where Cho Chang kissed Harry she kept answering phones. "ya i watching harry potter" "gsc lo" "gurney wan!" note that the quotes are suppose to be in hokkien but... you know why. Then after the kissing scene she kept replying smses!!! Idiot don't you know your handphone's light is very very very irritating!!! That is why there's a lot advertisement about using handphone in the cinema and apparently that lady's too dumb to take notice of those ads! ARGH so you people don't use too much if you do need to sms..wait. If you need to take the call make it short or better still..ignore the call!

Do you all know what those words means? note that the first word (kemanusiaan) is in Bahasa Malaysia and yes it IS within us but look at the headlines this 2 days about the missing child and later found murdered. Apparently it was the parent's act. The parent = mother and her boyfriend.
I first saw the "Missing child" poster near the traffic light in my housing area and gosh she (Shearway Ooi Ying Ying) cute~ but too bad she will not be ale to see more of the world!
But there are a few variations to the story, her mother left her to pay something at the Air Itam market and apparently some people did not see a child at the spot she said she had left her. Others say her boyfriend took the child and in this case took is defined as kidnapped.Others also say the murder was at the shower where she left the world...:( There is also another story that says her parents (mother+bf) was quoted "I don't want her!!"
Enough about her I'm more interested about the guy her alleged boyfriend that was said to have committed the murder, about how is he able to sleep at night???!!! ASSHOLE!!
oh my god I'm pulling down the rating of my post hehe but I don't care I want this message to be spread around, how can you actually sleep at night?? No way! Imagine the image of the body and all those memories that you had with her!! NO!! UNACCEPTABLE!!

It's the talk of the schools and to most people it simply means the mammoth are dying along with the sabertooth tiger and yes of course they're all extinct as of at the time this post is written but just in case GLOBAL WARMING reminds you of Ice Age. Actually global warming is caused by mainly CO2 released into the air and thus the "greenhouse effect"
Just in case you need more info for your PA or just to add to your pool of knowledge, greenhouse effect is when the heat from the sun comes to Earth the heat can't be released back up thus more sun's heat in and less out will talk more about this for now it's a good night sleep

The fishes are doing fine as of at 10.06pm hopefully they stay this way very worried about them,
This evening went to gurney and saw a horrific event..not an accident or anything like that just the pipe burst you know? the manhole and shit water (literary) was flowing out from it being overfilled I quickly made a U-Turn (the legal way) but the water subsided before I can get a shot but I did get a shot of a puddle of brownish-shit-stinking-gross water in front of G Hotel!! Is this how we promote Visit Penang? NO WAY!!!
Will upload the pix ASAP.
Anyway I was talking with my dad about a DIY air pump which basically is a CPU fan(look at my older posts the cooler fan for my tank) fitted into a container and the other end of the container a hole is drilled or punctured big enough to fit a 2 way valve but not sure the fan will actually pressurize the container in a way that the air will not flow back out thus lowering the pressure of the air in the container. Any suggestions?

p/s: just now around 2 something 3 of the fishes were acting weird e.g floating on top at 1 corner and not eating and after a little bit of research I suspected Gyrodactylus
a type of flukes, "small worm-like parasites up to 2mm in length. Technically they are monogenean trematodes, which describes their biological classification (trematodes) and the fact they only need one host to complete their life cycle (monogenean) whereas many parasitic trematodes need two or more hosts and are thus digeneans!" I extracted that from Fishdocs and so I rushed to CTY and to my greatest shock the remedy was RM34.90!!! It's JBL's Gyrodol... sad case and then I saw the first aid for all these problems and one of it is to turn off any carbon activated filter and so I got home and turned it off, dad asked me to change the water again (I did it before I left for CTY) and so I changed again and miraculously they're active again!!!! Will be updating tomorrow

You remember when you were young you always wanted to lock your school bag because some asshole kept stealing stuff from you? Well I know I did, I locked my bag with a lock and the key i kept it in another compartment (ok I know that makes the lock redundant but I was just a kid) because I was afraid of losing the key thus, getting me into more trouble. Anyway RapidPenang will begin to ply the routes of Penang from 1st of August and it'll be a 2 day free ride so be sure to try it. I know I will and I keep you all updated about it ok?

postmortem couldn't be performed so the cause of death is still unknown but the male guppy is doing fine though he looks bored... RIP female guppy.

Yesterday was the inter-class game and for my class U6S2 we were up against U6S1 in volleyballs in semi-final and they won and hell! it was a good game. Good job to Wing Liong, Joseph, Jia Wei, Yik Chin, Leethya, Mei Yen and Joshua. U6S1 consisted of Robert, Ikwan, Brandon, Yu Yu, Hui Ming and Wai Min sorry if I spelled your name wrongly it was a very good game and then there was U6A2 against U6S4 and KUDOS to U6A2 which had Michael, Wei Han, Aaron, Khai Keat, Sarah, Phui Leng, Naga and Leroy. U6S4... sorry but I can't remember your names... It was a GOOOD game too with U6S2 winning the game.
Today was the finals between U6A2 with U6S1 and it was rather a windy day and also an exciting game. U6S2 won but it was a really hell good game. Kudos to all of you!

Last night i didn't post anything kinda tired after coming home after a night's out with Jean, Michael and Ravi and yes, Jean drove us around in his mom's Camry.. then we went to Kapitan's at Victoria Street..lame, LAME not gonna go back there anytime soon, the service is soooooo bad.

Well the tank looks ok and finally I manage to find the clip I needed to attach my fan on the tank from the aquarium shop near JE don't really know the shop's name just ask me I'll tell you where.
And the CO2 is finally up and running but.. not really sure wanna keep using it or... well let the pictures do the talking

The fishes are doing well if you're wondering but the water is a bit brown maybe because of the wood? And today Ree Nee and I went to see the dog person well it's rather cute and all but yea...discussion is still going on lol...kinda blur on the line now if you know what I mean oh well after that we went to the aquarium/pet shop opposite CLHS not sure what is it called though kinda big walked around a bit and bought myself a valve(70sens) and a 2mtube that costed 40sens cheap huh? and then we were saying wanna go down to CTY and look around there as I'm actually looking for a CO2 ladder which actually quite expensive there so when we got down to CTY the valve was 90sens!! HoooHoo what a bargain so we were there a while and me being me left the tube and the valve on Bikey and then when the window shopping was done we were leaving I discovered I lost the valve!!! ARGH! So after dropping Ree Nee home I made a quick run to CTY and tried to reroute my path to see maybe I could find it again...but to no avail..sob!!~! Had to waste another 90 sens!!! SO GERAM!~!~!
Anyhow these are the picture of a DIY fan I made wif Dad so fun!!

The fan was from the processor of my old PC a Pentium MMX lol the fan still works like wonder and the adapter is a phone charger just need to cut off the wire of the fan from the cable and from the adapter and then just turn them into a lump like how you'd do for a form 3 KH project
and then just plug in the wall and try while crossing your fingers Dad said the fuse will trip if connected wrongly but not being able to try I couldn't tell you but because my wire connector was from an adapter which the wire can be taken off so I could easily test if my connection was right or not... but I think if you fixed it the other way around it should just spin in the other direction the rotor or blades I mean..

Ok so as promised tonight I'm gonna talk about me setting up the fish. First as you can see the pix below I just prepared the things so to start is easy to wash and first I dipped the newly-brought fishes in a pail of water to acclimatise them as in to get used to the water temperature,
next, I washed the wood over and over and over again just to be sure and while doing that I filled the tank to check if there's any leak and all then after I'm done with washing the wood I started washing the gravel just like mommy would wash the rice before she starts cooking it so you get the idea right?
Then after that, I removed the water from the tank then, I spread the gravel as in to form a base s substrate I think that's what's it's called followed by the wood along with the moss that I tied as I waited for the tank to reveal it's defect and I can tell you it's not very easy and then only I filled the water in the room before I did that I placed a plate or bowl in the tank and poured the water on it so the force of the water will not destroy my base.
Then after that, I fixed up the filter the weird thing was it would make such a noise and not sucking any water up like it should be. Dad said "try pour a bit water into it see" and magically it worked!! so the fishes finally went in...A fish's eye point of view of the fish can be found here by Ree Nee

Ok-

these are the fishes(2) and the moss still in their packet and then according to the guides that I read I'm supposed to acclimate the fishes by doing the above
Next,

not very clear as the fishes are moving so...ignore it and btw the right one is a male and the left is a female
Then,

this is the wood that'll be the 'play house' for the fishes
Followed by,

This is the moss.. I didn't manage to to get a photo of the moss on the wood though..sorry but it's pretttty
And finally,

everything ready to be worked on!
As much as I would like to go on it's almost 12 already and there's still a lot of steps to talk about I think I'll leave it till tomorrow ok? so come back tomorrow!!!

Today, we went to some event that was hosted by the Penang...shit it slipped out of my mind... I think it's Penang's Cyclist Association or something will check and correct it and hell it was crappy.. said will start at 0830 bt started at 0930 and then the sprint event supposed to start at 1430 bt started at 1500+- thus... making me agitated and rushed like mad ish! Have you people heard about the Volkswagen (VW) buying over Proton's shares and then some 'party' does not really wanna let it go and from the debate going on it's because it benefits 'some people' although it really is killing off everything else and the other reason of not selling it off is due to muka woh... but look at Rolls Royce, it was handed over to BMW and now look at them, it's famous and also wanted by almost royalty there is come on.. just hand it over... that's what i think

Ok I know I said I'd upload the photo but..sorry been a tiring day today woke up at 430 and was at Annual Parade (for those unfamiliar it's a day where all the MRCS(Malaysian Red Crescent Member) gather for a parade) and Dexter was the ADJUNTANT@~!~ so that means next year he'll be the Parade Commandant will be him woooooooo so keng rite? I'm proud of you hehehe
and I'll be uploading some photos of the parade when possible didn't really take any since kinda busy once the parade started as lot of people (especially girls (now now I know it's sexist and I'm bound to get some critics for saying this) started falling or in a meaner way KO-ed well can't really blame them as the weather is kinda hot plus next to the sea somemore (Esplanade) and plus our TYT ah... too sensitive cannot post here but if you're interested just tell me I'll be happy to tell you about it and the fucking army people well it was last year but it was very offending when one of them said "u orang mau selamatkan orang tetapi sendiri do asyik jatuh macam mana ni huh~~~" FUCK OFF LA we help people but we are also PEOPLE helping people and come on PEOPLE are HUMANS and HUMANS are made so that our body can setup it's functions or 'settings' so that our body won't be spoiled so when it's too hot our body shuts down it's secondary functions so that the primary functions will still function along with the primary organ understand? if you don't just tell me ok? anyhoooo very tired gonna retire for the nite (of blogging) nite nite~

OK! as most of you might know there is a person doing a blog for cars paultan.org but I'm gonna tell you hopeful people a little about it.
Well for a starter a lot of people over the internet especially at forums are complaining about our national car maker,
Proton and I quote a forum-ner "proton's qc= proton is quality canceled"
but among of the midst of the complains Proton keeps making new cars and at a more affordable price too there is a rumor of a new type of Gen 2 a sedan type but there is no official news yet but I fancy a proton, the new Waja Campro and it comes with a bluetooth equipped radio for wireless connectivity!!! I LIEK!!! And the price not being cheap but not too expensive too if you can afford it that is.

Next is Perodua not that I hate it or anything but Perodua is for like a car for driver, a driver oriented car than a family car, just look at Kanci, Kelisa, Kembara, Myvi and Viva. Well Viva IS a replacement car of Kelisa and do I read somewhere I forgot where but i think it's at
paultan.org that the big ass of Perodua was quoted saying "Malaysians want G&C product, Good & Cheap not to mention they want it big as well and this Viva will be next big thing after Myvi" do you people know that Viva is longer than Myvi by 10 mm (Viva 1845mm Myvi is 1835mm) but the width is 100 mm smaller than Myvi (Viva 1300 mm Myvi 1400 mm). Not in the mood to elaborate more on Perodua now heehehee

Honda is the next on the list. Well Honda came out with a lot of models namely, Accord, City, Jazz, Civic, CR-V, Stream, and Odyssey. You might be able to guess it I like Honda Accord and it's because of the LCD Meter (not sure what it's called) and it's not cheap! Although with that price, the latest technology are deployed into the car, VVTI, DOHC, V6 DOHC, VTEC, i-VTEC and many more that I'm not familiar with lol don't blame me I'm new into this and yes all this are more family-ed car.

Next, we have Toyota not that much to be said of it, but there is Camry, Fortuner, Altis, Vios, Yaris, Wish, Innova, Avanza, Hilux, RAV4 and Hiace. Don't really know much except Hiace is a lorry and the rest are pretty familiy car and do you know that Camru and Altis has LEATHER seat not sure about the other but will check it out and by the way Toyota is expensive...

Well I need to go sleep now I've got to wake up early tomorrow need to go HQ to help out.. But be rest assured that there'll be more on all these next time and notice that I didn't talk about Mercedes Benz, Smart and BMW because... well you can guess. Yawn...oh well goodnite sleep tight!!
